From the dawn of time until now, the hardest job on earth has been simply being a woman. No man has ever suffered the pangs of childbirth or the humiliation of being divorced because he failed to sire sons. No man has been denied suffrage, education, or the control of his own earnings because of his genitalia. Even those unfortunate men who have been kept at the bottom of the heap because of race, religion, or socioeconomic status have been lords and masters in their homes. And men have invented patriarchal deities who have decreed that women should be kept below, behind, benighted, and belittled.
Here are some of the opinions and insights of a properly raised Southern girl who gradually learned that eyes are to see with, ears are to hear with, a brain is to think with, and a mouth is to speak the truth with - even if one doesn't have a penis - and that bullshit is bullshit, especially when dispensed by a preacher or a politician.
