This very personal account details the struggle the author has as he moves from total acceptance of Religion to rejection. Many who have "faith" will complain that religion and faith are separate. But the author does a very good job as he relates his story. He accepts religion and faith as it is the accepted thing to do. He finds safety in numbers and certainly, all cannot be wrong. But he realizes over time the intellectual emptiness that exists in accepting "faith" without critical thinking. When he cannot ignore the repeated inconsistencies between what so-called people of faith profess and what they do, he reaches the breaking point.
