Cable host Keith Olbermann and news channel MSNBC abruptly parted ways when the network announced that his contract had ended.
The surprise announcement came following an increasingly tempestuous relationship between MSNBC and one of its most-watched evening anchors. It happened less than three months after the network briefly suspended the controversial host.
Olbermann was an inspiration at a time when we needed it most -- during the height of the Bush administration. He has been someone we could count on for support; it's obvious that he should be able to count on us to stand with him. That is why we encourage you to display your support with t-shirts, buttons, magnets and bumper stickers, and to influence your like-minded friends to do the same!
