Here are some new photos from around the Colorado Springs
area... kinda purdy, huh?
The
Garden of The Gods - lies to the
west of Colorado Springs, in the foothills of The Rocky Mountains. A series
of huge, spectacular sandstone rock formations jut out of the earth at
strange angles, rather like those at Red Rocks Arena, to the north near
Denver. At sunset the rocks glow a bright orange color, giving an extremely
spooky atmosphere with bats flying around visitors' heads! |

Pikes
Peak - with the city of Colorado Springs in the foreground.
"America's Mountain" was named after Lt. Zebulon Pike, the first
white man to document it in 1806. The Peak dominates the landscape of
El Paso County. It is capped with snow for half of the year, and is often
hit by violent afternoon thunderstorms in summer. A cog railway runs to
the 14,110 ft summit, or visitors can even drive themselves to the top
via the Pikes Peak Highway. Un-evolved lowlanders can be seen gasping
for breath in the thin air at the summit! |
Manitou
Springs - just to the west of Colorado
Springs, is a lil' old spa town dating back to the Victorian era. People
flocked here from all over the world to drink the famous sparkling waters
that bubbled up from the many natural springs throughout the town. Little
has changed since then. The town is still entirely free of the icons of
modern corporate America, having a distinctly bohemian character and charm.
It might be Colorado's very own Greenwich Village! |

US Air Force Academy - located just a few miles north of Colorado Springs in beautiful countryside. Here, the raw recruits are bombarded with Christian fundamentalist propaganda, constantly reminded that they serve Jesus before their country or Constitution. However, many of the young aviators come down into town to visit us, which proves that not all of them are so easily misled. They have a lot of interesting opinions about former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, too. Notice the gathering storm clouds in this photo of the Academy chapel. Is God about to vent his righteous rage at the US Air Force? Or maybe it's just the weather again... |
Focus
on The Family - this is the monstrous
global communications HQ of James Dobson's all out, multi-media assault
on American values. We have long suspected that a network of secret tunnels
connects this place to the Ted Haggard's New Life Church (see below).
Dobson and his obedient flock claim that America is a Christian nation,
when the Constitution clearly states otherwise. Oh well, there will always
be a certain group of people who prefer a lifetime of ignorance, and are
happy to have their heads filled up with dangerous, divisive nonsense...
education in reverse, if you like. This is an image from the EvolveFISH
death-ray satellite that monitors them 24/7. |

New Life Church World Prayer Center - just across I-25 from the Air Force Acedemy, and known locally as the "Ted Shed," this monstrous edifice is where disgraced GOP recruiter Ted Haggard misled his faithful flock of over 14,000 local sheep for over two decades, until he was caught spending the collection money on narcotics and gay prostitutes. Maybe "Meth Head Ted" should lock himself in one of those little short-stay prayer closets inside the WPC to get on bended knee and seek forgiveness from the almighty James Dobson. |
Colorado
Springs - it's a huge, sprawling concrete jungle with rampant
over-development, crumbling roads, clouds of yellow early-morning smog,
countless lunatic Baptist groups and a warmongering right-wing newspaper
called The Gazette, but it's our home and we wouldn't wanna live anywhere
else. Just take a look at that view across to the mountains! At over 6,000
ft above sea level, this is the "mile-and-a-quarter-high city,"
so we can easily look down on the good folks in the Denver lowlands from
our lofty perch. You'd love it here. |

Meet the FISH crew!
Gary
& Becky - are the owners of EvolveFISH.
They started selling the famous EvolveFISH emblems from their basement
waaaay back in 1992, and they also leading activists in many local and
national Humanist, Freethinker, Atheist and Liberal groups. True American
patriots! |

Pauline
- our Chief Purchaser and Packing Manager. She chooses
our new products and decides which old ones go in the dumpster. It looks
like the strain is beginning to show... Climbs, hikes, cycles a lot but
really loves taking long road trips. Apparently has a car for
each day of the week... |
Mike - makes all of our 'made-to-order' t-shirts, stickers, keychains and license plates. Also designs our best 'in-house' stickers. Likes to play drums (not geetar) and shoot defenseless, inanimate objects at weekends. Oh, and you also need to beware of the official EvolveFISH customer service grenade launcher... |

Rich - your local friendly Euro-insurgent internationalist. Tries to repair the damage to his beloved English language on a daily basis, but finds it to be a mostly futile exercise. Survived sharks, rednecks and hurricanes while living in Florida, sought refuge in Colorado and prefers his tea served with milk and two sugars, please. Probably needs to stop watching 'Fargo' sometime soon... |
Josh
- our former Creative Director just headed off to
diving school in Seattle to learn the noble arts of the undersea ninja!
Hiii-yaaaah, glug glug... |

| Tani - is responsible for destruction-testing all of our pro-science toys and kids' games. She loves wild animals, dancing classes, and enjoys decorating the parking lot, too! | ![]() |
